Nothing is more classic and true to "southern roots" than a good old fashioned Pecan Pie. We updated the recipe and came up with a praline version that's less jelly-like in texture and brimming with buttery goodness! Our 9" deep dish pies are loaded with 2 heaping cups of fresh Georgia pecans and a tender, flaky crust garnished with olive leaves.
Fun Fact: The name "pecan" is a Native American word that was used to describe nuts requiring a stone to crack. The pecan pie was created by French people who settled in New Orleans. The pecan capital of the world is Albany, Georgia which boasts more than 600,000 pecan trees.
